northerngroup was established in 1974 by the current managing director Jake Ezair. The business has grown considerably since that time and the company has successfully completed a diverse range of both residential and commercial projects.

northerngroup has now grown to employ over 25 staff and are professional, pioneering developers of property in Manchester, and the North West region of England. In 2003 the company moved to new head offices in order to be closer to new developments within the Ancoats Urban Village and to allow for further expansion.
